I aslo have hijack this installed but I don't know what to look for. Software I have run: kaspersky, avg free, iobit security, pctools spyware docter, spybot search and destroy, malwarebytes, smartvirus remover. ![]() There are some files on each of my drives(3) that say recyler and sys info. I've heard of a recycler virus, but that there are many. On the internet there is no redirect in safemode. Also a side note, desktop items are still shaded. While it has found some malware and trojans and gotten rid of it it hasn't found whatever is causing the problem. In safe mode with networking I can run most programs and antivirus/malware/spyware software. Access to install new virus software is denied even in admin. Also can't run virus software and windows security is disabled. Now in normal startup programs and docs can be opened but they stall out. A little before things started stalling the computer, I could use programs and the internet, but everytime I tried to use the web it would redirect every site. I've used a number of software and virus removal tools. A couple of days ago I had a virus somehow creep into my computer, and I can't seem to get rid of it.
